If you test drove any of the past iterations of Trine 2, then know that not a lot has changed in terms of control. It is a massive game that helps justifies its twenty dollar price tag.

With that said, though, a number of puzzles almost feel as if they’re built strictly for cooperative play. The puzzles themselves are entertaining and are well paced as it starts off easy and slowly escalate to more challenging, ensuring everyone will become stuck at one point or another. The game is set on a two-dimensional plane where you must move from left to right, solve progression blocking puzzles and defeat evil creatures that lurch around. They’re a strange bunch but they complement each other perfectly, especially when you get into the online side of things. Zoya is a thief who can grapple and shoot arrows, Pontius is a large knight who can wield a shield and sword, and Amadeus is a wizard who can conjure up magic and create items. There are three main characters that are available at all times, each one possessing their own unique set of skills.

Several live chats and emails later, Sony's reasoning seems to be that I allowed my PS Plus subscription to lapse for a few weeks at some point, and this is somehow the reason as to why Trine 2: Complete Story has disappeared for me.It has been two years since Trine 2 hit PC and OS X platforms, and since then it has received a number of enhancements and downloadable content. I went back to it earlier this year and was confused to see the game completely missing in my PS4 library, i.e. I ended up deleting the game with the intention of going back to it, as space is tight on 500GB PS4s. I have trophies unlocked for the game (which aren't available in the demo), as well as screenshots from those later levels, which also aren't available in the demo. I downloaded it and played through several levels in 3D in co-op with my partner.
Back in June 2014, Trine 2: Complete Story (PS4) was included in PS Plus's monthly games, and I was excited to try it out, as I'd played 1 & 2 on PS3.
